Rihanna said she regrets going back to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after he left her bruised and battered during a February assault, warning other women facing domestic violence to not let themselves become blinded by love. “It’s completely normal to go back. You start lying to yourself,’’ the 21-year-old singer said yesterday on “Good Morning America.’’ “I’ll say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence: ‘Don’t react off of love.’ ’’ A judge ordered Brown and Rihanna to stay away from each other. Oprah drops gospel singer
Oprah Winfrey is removing gospel singer BeBe Winans from her show’s “karaoke challenge’’ until charges against him for allegedly pushing his ex-wife, Debra, to the ground are resolved. Winans was seen in promos for future appearances on “Oprah.’’ Bloggers criticized her for including Winans after she had taken a stand against domestic violence earlier this year. She did a show on the topic when singer Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna. It was not clear if Winfrey had been aware that Winans was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault. Winans has a Jan. 20 court date. (AP)
