Jesse James' ex-wife will not be allowed visitation rights to daughter Sunny.

Janine Lindemulder, a former porn star who is currently serving four months in a halfway house for violating parole in a tax evasion case, will only be allowed daily calls with the six year old.

However, Jesse - who is now married to Oscar nominated actress Sandra Bullock - wants to cut down the volume of calls.

He said: "She texts at least twice and up to 20 times a day, demanding to talk to Sunny.

"But sometimes she'll go a week at a time where she doesn't make a call. She has no filter on what she tells Sunny about prison.

"There's a lot of conversation about prison or jail and things that I don't think a six-year-old can comprehend or process."

Janine had won custody of their daughter over the Christmas period, but Jesse has revealed he did not arrive to pick her up.

Sandra and Jesse have previously accused Janine of being a bad mother, and in an application for custody claimed "Sunny is left alone during the day, while her mother is asleep from drug use".

The next hearing in the ongoing custody battle has been scheduled for June 14.
