The Kennedy Library Foundation’s 23d Annual May Dinner drew a group of well-dressed politicos, historians, writers, philanthropists, and dignitaries last night. The guest list for the black-tie event, which is the library’s biggest fund-raiser, included Caroline Kennedy, her husband Edwin Schlossberg, and their children Jack and Tatiana Schlossberg; attorney Thurgood Marshall Jr. (son of late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall); UMass-Boston Chancellor Keith Motley, Harvard Law Dean Martha Minow, US Archivist David S. Ferriero, Continental Wingate Management CEO Gerald Schuster, Staples CEO Ron Sargent; and Profile in Courage Award honorees Wael Ghonim, a former Google exec who started the Facebook page that played a significant role in Egypt’s pro-democracy protests, and Elizabeth Redenbaugh, school board member from North Carolina who spoke out about possible racial segregation in school redistricting plans.
