As you might expect, Boston is well represented on the “Top 10 Badass Women Chefs in America,’’ a list compiled by The Daily Meal. No. 1? Lydia Shire. The flame-haired chef/owner of Scampo and Towne Stove & Spirits is dubbed the “original grande dame badass’’ because she opened the Four Seasons Hotel dining room in LA, created Biba, and became the first female chef at Locke-Ober. No. 5 on the list is Barbara Lynch (pictured), the chef/owner of No. 9 Park and B&G Oysters, among other entities. . . . Meanwhile, Harvest chef Mary Dumont and Toro chef Jamie Bissonnette will be in Vegas this weekend with a host of other star chefs taking part in the All-Star Cochon event.
