WFNX and the Museum of Fine Arts continued their acoustic music series Wednesday afternoon by having Long Island rock band Taking Back Sunday perform under Edwin Austin Abbey’s 1897 painting “A Pavane’’ in the MFA’s American Renaissance gallery. The audience consisted of 20 ’FNX listeners and 20 MFA Facebook followers, all of whom won a place at the show. During their visit, Taking Back Sunday musicians - including singer Adam Lazzara and guitarist John Nolan - checked out a few exhibits, including the Dale Chihuly display. ’FNX’s next acoustic concert at the MFA is My Morning Jacket on Aug. 24. Yes, you have to win a spot at that one, too.
