‘Crooked Arrows’ casting call
“Crooked Arrows,’’ the lacrosse movie starring Brandon Routh that started shooting locally this week, is in need of more athletes. Boston Casting sent out a note yesterday looking for Caucasian male lacrosse players, 18 to 20, who are available today and Aug. 8-13. If you fit the description and want to be in a movie, you should e-mail your personal information (including a photo) to BostonCastingLacrosse@gmail.com. “Crooked Arrows’’ is about a man (Routh) who coaches a Native American lacrosse team that faces off against rich kids from a prep school. Routh tweeted pictures from the set yesterday, and University at Albany lacrosse star Mike Banks told fans that he’s also in the Bay State for the film, which has plans to shoot its big scenes in Topsfield.![]()
