A bevy of boldfacers were at the Bank of America Pavilion over the weekend for the J. Geils Band’s two sold-out shows. Spotted were keyboardist extraordinaire Al Kooper, veteran Woody Allen actor John Doumanian, Raptor Investments’ Alex Zecca and wife Laura, Live Nation brass Don Law and Dave Marsden, Phoenix Media masthead’s Brad Mindich, Mike Fuller, and David Bieber, musicians Kevin Barry, David Johnston, and Ed Valauskas, Mass. Lottery director Paul Sternburg, current and former DJs John Laurenti, Carter Alan, and Mark Parenteau, WZLX marketing man Cha-Chi Loprete and the station’s program director Mike Thomas, Middle East owner Joseph Sater, former treasurer Joe Malone, comedian Steve Sweeney, Scene magazine publisher Bobby DiMarzo, and Richie and Raffi Bezjian of Leo’s Place. Ain’t nothin’ but a party.
