Gem of a party

Gemvara held an open house last night to show off its deluxe new downtown digs. (Formerly headquartered in Lexington, the online jewelry design company is doing business now in a loft at One Financial Center.) Gemvara CEO Matt Lauzon, who recently raised $15 million in venture capital, has added a familiar face: Corinne Grousbeck, wife of Celts CEO Wyc Grousbeck, just signed on as brand strategist. Invited guests last night included Hizzoner Tom Menino, fashionista Marilyn Riseman, and Channel 5’s Bianca de la Garza.
