The engagement ring that was found near Fenway Park and turned in to Boston police by a good Samaritan the other night has been claimed. Erin Jenkins, whose ring fell off her finger during her lunch break on Friday, was able to describe it to police in great detail and was reunited with the charm. Erin told us yesterday that her cousin read about the ring on Boston.com, “and she was like ‘Erin, this is your ring.’ ’’ Erin added that during the days that the ring was missing, her fiance, Matthew Turnbell, was supportive - and not at all angry. “He was like, ‘Don’t worry, it’s not about the ring.’ ’’ Erin said they have been engaged since March. And that she plans to have the ring tightened.
