Fourteen college-bound Boston Public High School grads were honored Tuesday as this year’s recipients of the Foundation to Be Named Later Peter Gammons Scholarship. Each student got some money and was paired with a local mentor, who will help them during their college years. Jessenia Cortes of Roxbury, for instance, was paired with Marie Whitney, wife of Red Sox GM and Foundation to Be Named Later cofounder Theo Epstein. The ceremony was held between games at Fenway Park.
