Deadline.com reports that our own Mike O’Malley, the Boston actor who scored an Emmy nomination for his role on “Glee,’’ has been added to the cast of “R.I.P.D.,’’ the Ryan Reynolds-Jeff Bridges movie that will film around town next month. O’Malley joins a supporting cast that includes Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak, and Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller, who is also a recent addition to the lineup. The ghost-cop movie is being directed by Robert Schwentke, who worked with Parker on another movie with an acronym title, “R.E.D.’’ . . . In other “R.I.P.D.’’ news, the movie is on the hunt for male bagpipers. If you happen to be one and are interested in being in a big-budget Boston movie, contact Boston Casting.
