Geez, you spend a few days with the president on the Vineyard, and the next thing you know the Wahlbergs are opening a burger joint. Brothers Paul, Donnie, and Mark Wahlberg are planning to open a restaurant called Wahlburgers. The idea has apparently been floating around for a while, but the boys had to get the rights to the name away from a restaurant owner in Rochester, N.Y. (The guy sold a burger with the same name.) Given the Wahlbergs’ name - and popularity - such a restaurant makes sense, says business partner Ed St. Croix. The new place is expected to open across the street from Alma Nova, the Hingham eatery named after the Wahlbergs’ mother.
