Most weekend events were canceled because of Irene, but some locals managed to party through the storm. The show went on for car king Ernie Boch Jr., who was happy to host his annual summer party at his home in Norwood on Saturday night despite the early rain. Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland was the night’s big performer. In the audience were Kevin Youkilis’s ex Enza Sambataro, Boston bluesman James Montgomery, WZLX’s Karlson & McKenzie, the Phoenix’s David Bieber, band manager Ralph Jaccodine, Live Nation boss Dave Marsden, Livingston Taylor, Fox 25 anchor Gene Lavanchy, “Toucher & Rich’’ ’s Fred Toettcher, and former Del Fuego Woody Giessmann.
