As if performing for 106,000 people over two nights at Gillette Stadium wasn’t enough, country singer Kenny Chesney got to practice with the Patriots while he was in town. Chesney, a football fan who last year made a documentary about the sport, called “Boys of Fall,’’ spent an hour on the field with the Pats last week before the team headed to Detroit to play the Lions.
