Bruce Springsteen, in town to drop his son at BC, played a short, impromptu set at the Public Garden yesterday. The Boss borrowed a busker's acoustic guitar and treated passersby to a few tunes. . . Various Yankees - including Nick Swisher and Mark Teixeira - were spotted boarding a bus outside of the Ritz yesterday. . . . A clerk at Ralph Lauren told us yesterday that the train of limos parked outside of the Newbury Street store had transported a Saudi Arabian family there to do some shopping. Nobody famous, the clerk said, just “some diplomat.’’
