Charlestown went Hollywood yesterday as Ryan Reynolds and the cast of “R.I.P.D.’’ took over streets near the Warren Tavern. Locals took photos as Reynolds and Kevin Bacon filmed a scene in a shiny Dodge Challenger. Bacon also took some photos of his own. The actor, who likes to take snapshots of people who take photos of him (he tags them #ShootBack on Twitter), got some nice images of neighborhood spectators that he posted to his website. Remember that Bacon is no stranger to Charlestown. He filmed “Mystic River’’ here. “R.I.P.D.’’ stands for “Rest in Peace Department.’’ The movie is about a recently deceased cop who teams up with a Wild West ghost (Jeff Bridges) to fight bad Boston cops. Through the car window, you can see actress Stephanie Szostak, of “Dinner for Schmucks,’’ who plays Reynolds’s wife.
