Ryan Reynolds makes news in Boston, NY, and LA

Actor Ryan Reynolds has been spending most of his time in Boston to film “R.I.P.D.,’’ but he’s still causing a stir in New York and Los Angeles. Yesterday the real estate website Zillow reported that Reynolds is selling his Hollywood Hills home for about $1.6 million; he bought it for $1.7 million in 1997. And Us magazine reported yesterday that Reynolds spent last Friday in New York on a date with actress Olivia Wilde. Maybe he’ll bring her to town and take her to the restaurants he’s been visiting on Stanhope Street. . . . Speaking of “R.I.P.D.,’’ the Hollywood Reporter says that Reynolds’s newest castmate in the Boston-based ghost-cop movie is Robert Knepper, best known as “T-Bag’’ on “Prison Break.’’ The “R.I.P.D.’’ crew filmed yesterday at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
