Ryan Reynolds dines with his stand-in at Lolita

Actor Ryan Reynolds and his lookalike stand-in, Chris Whitney, dined together at Lolita in the Back Bay on Wednesday night. Whitney, who was Reynolds’s stand-in on the local movie “The Proposal’’ and is now working on the Boston-based action film “R.I.P.D.,’’ has been a Lolita bartender. . . . Mel Jason Smalls, the rapper better known as Drag-On, will be at the Liberty tonight, performing as part of Susan Maguire’s Powerhouse Artist Series. Drag-On, whose debut CD is called “Opposite of H2O,’’ is also familiar from his roles in the films “Cradle 2 the Grave’’ and “Exit Wounds.’’
