Towne Stove and Spirits was honored as a Best New Restaurant by Esquire magazine at a party in New York. Accepting the award were owners Patrick Lyons and Lydia Shire. (Three years ago, the duo won the same award for Scampo.) Legal Harborside also received the honor and owner Roger Berkowitz was there to accept. . . . Boston actress/producer Christy Cashman is headed to Jacksonville, Fla., for the world premiere of “Sunny Side Up’’ at the Jax Film Fest. The indie film, which was shot at the Weir River Farm in Hingham, costars Parker Posey.
