The Berklee Encore Gala - which raised $1.56 million for the Berklee City Music Program - brought some big talents to the Westin Copley on Saturday night. “Spinal Tap’’ star Christopher Guest was one of the familiar faces at the event, as was Canton’s Paul Guilfoyle, best known as Captain Brass on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.’’ Other revelers included Newbury Comics boss and Berklee Trustee Mike Dreese, musician Al Kooper, and Berklee City Music executive director Curtis Warner. Guest, by the way, is also a Berklee Trustee and received an honorary doctorate in music from the school in 2007.
