We hear that Grammy winner (and former Berklee College of Music student) John Mayer checked into the Four Seasons the other night; he is in town to meet with doctors about his throat problems. Mayer confirmed to fans last month that he had been diagnosed with a granuloma, an inflammation of the throat, which meant that he would have to cancel shows and delay recording his new album. He wrote to fans on his blog at the time, “I’ve got the best doctors in the country looking after me and I will be singing and touring again as soon as I get the all clear.’’ It’s no surprise that at least some of those doctors are here.
