MFA shares the love
The Museum of Fine Arts continues to put us in the mood. After celebrating its nudes, the MFA hosted a party Tuesday night for the opening of “Aphrodite and the Gods of Love,’’ an exhibition that includes loans from Rome and Naples. Guests included WGBH’s Jared Bowen; Saragoni & Company boss Jan Saragoni; the Honorable Ilias Fotopoulos, consul general of Greece in Boston, and his wife Yioula; exhibition curator Christine Kondoleon; exhibition designer Virginia Durruty; and senior curator of contemporary art Jen Mergel. Behind Durruty and Mergel in the above photo is a statue of Aphrodite, the show’s star.
