The buzz is already building for “Magic/Bird,’’ a new play based on the relationship between Hall of Famers Larry Bird and Earvin “Magic’’ Johnson . This week, the show’s producers, Fran Kirsmer and Tony Ponturo, gave folks a little preview, talking about the Celts/Lakers rivalry during an appearance at John Caron ’s restaurant/bar West End Johnnie’s on Portland Street. The pair, who previously produced “Lombardi,’’ are aiming for a March opening on Broadway.
