Good to see Dave Grohl hasn’t forgotten where he came from. The Foo Fighters’s frontman gave Mark Kates a shout-out at the Garden the other night. Kates worked with Nirvana when they signed with ( David ) Geffen Records, and he now manages Boston’s own Mission of Burma, whom Grohl credited with changing his life when he was 13 years old. . .
