Staind bassist antes up for ambulance
Kudos to Staind bassist John April , who just bought a state-of-the-art ambulance for Highland Ambulance, which serves the western Mass. towns of Ashfield, Chesterfield, Cummington, Goshen, Plainfield and Williamsburg. (April lives in Goshen.) The Daily Hampshire Gazette reported this week that April decided to make the gift - value $150,000 - after seeing a ceramic piggy bank labeled “Goshen Ambulance Fund’’ on the counter of the Williamsburg Pharmacy.
