Looks like author Dennis Lehane will become the newest member of the Boston Public Library Board of Trustees. Mayor Tom Menino will swear in the “Mystic River’’ scribe today at City Hall. A Dorchester native, Lehane - whose books also include “Shutter Island’’ and “Gone Baby Gone’’ - will take the spot previously held by James Carroll .
