Happy birthday, Bradley Cooper!

In the video above, the actor is serenaded by former "Entertainment Tonight" host Mary Hart and other guests at the Palm Springs International Film Festival during the weekend.

The "Silver Linings Playbook" star and People's former Sexiest Man Alive turned 38 on Saturday.

He received a nice birthday present when he was awarded the Desert Palm Achievement Actor Award for his work in "Silver Linings Playbook."

Cooper was all smiles that night. But he celebrated his birthday without former girlfriend Zoe Saldana, who he reportedly split with just before the holidays.

Report: Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana call it quits

Posted by Kristi Palma January 4, 2013 08:36 AM

It looks like Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana will have fewer words in the new year.

That's because the pair, who costarred in "The Words," broke up just before the holidays, according to the New York Post. The actors reportedly dated for three months after wrapping the film, then broke up in March and rekindled the romance in September before calling it quits again.

Jessica Simpson shows off 'baby bump'

Posted by Emily Wright December 30, 2012 08:53 PM

Less than a week after Jessica Simpson tweeted a photo of her daughter and the words "Big sis," alluding to a second pregnancy, she posted another photo to her social media account, this time giving followers a glimpse of what looks like a growing belly.

The 32-year-old's photo was a mirror shot (a.k.a. a selfie), showing off a bikini and matching cover-up, with the words, "Bumpin' and proud!" in the text field. Simpson, her fiance Eric Johnson, and their daughter Maxwell Drew, were on vacation in Hawaii this week, according to her Twitter account.

Rumors began circulating that Simpson and Johnson would soon be welcoming a new addition to their growing family when an exclusive source talked to Us Weekly in November, and revealed the then yet-to-be-confirmed baby news. Simpson has not commented on the baby news outside of her tweets.

Simpson gave birth to Maxwell, her first child, in May, 2012.

Kate Winslet marries for third time, given away by DiCaprio

Posted by Emily Wright December 27, 2012 09:11 AM

Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet married Ned Rock'nRoll in a private New York ceremony at the beginning of the month, according to her rep.

The ceremony was so private that the "Revolutionary Road" star's parents weren't even in attendance. Rather than being given away by her father, Winslet was presented to her hubby by "Titanic" costar Leonardo DiCaprio in front of a small group, which included her two children from her previous marriages.

Winslet was first spotted with Rock'nRoll at his uncle Sir Richard Branson's vacation home last fall. The pair confirmed their relationship when they arrived at the Golden Globes together on Jan. 15.

The actress was previously married to "Skyfall" director Sam Mendes (from 2003 to 2010) and British director Jim Threapleton (from 1998 to 2001). Rock'NRoll was previously married to British heiress Eliza Pearson, who was rumored to be dating 30 Seconds to Mars rocker Jared Leto earlier this year.

Jessica Simpson confirms second pregnancy via Twitter

Posted by Emily Wright December 26, 2012 08:43 AM

For the first time since Us Weekly published a report a month ago that Jessica Simpson was expecting a baby for the second time, the singer and fashion maven has commented (sort of) on the rumored pregnancy.

Simpson posted a Christmas tweet with a picture of her daughter Maxwell Drew seated above the words "big sis" written in the sand.

This somewhat cryptic post appears to confirm the Us Weekly story that baby No. 2 is on the way. Simpson, who gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew in May, could be in for another spring delivery.

Simpson is currently a spokesperson for Weight Watchers and recently revealed a 60-pound weight loss.

'Entertainment Tonight' names celebrity winners and losers of 2012

Posted by Kristi Palma December 24, 2012 08:16 AM

Madonna, Martha Stewart, and Lindsay Lohan are among "Entertainment Tonight"'s biggest losers of 2012. And we're not talking about weight loss.

The TV show compiled a list of Hollywood's winners and losers from the past year, based on things they've said, done, and the money they've earned (or lost!).

marthablog.jpg

Madonna is being called a Grinch for refusing to sing during an outdoor concert in Chile because of a smoker in the crowd. Stewart's company has reported a nearly $51 million quarterly loss and is about to lay off 12 percent of its workforce, and Lohan reportedly owes back taxes and is facing a battery charge in New York and a possible probation violation in Los Angeles. (Photo by Evan Agostini/Invision/AP Images)

channingblog.jpg

Now for some of the winners! Britney Spears made $58 million thanks to her new album "Femme Fatale" and her decision to be a judge on "The X Factor." Boy band One Direction won big with two No. 1 albums in eight months. And actress Jennifer Lawrence shot to fame because of her performance in "The Hunger Games." "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum rose to winner status after he was named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive. (Photo: AFP Photo/Valerie Macon/Getty Images)

"E.T." also awarded the Hollywood A-listers who banded together for a pubic service announcement about gun violence to the winners' circle. You can watch part of that announcement in the video above.

Boston University sophomore Olivia Culpo, of Cranston, R.I., was crowned Miss Universe Wednesday night during the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

It is the first time an American has won the Miss Universe title since Brook Lee won in 1997.

Yesterday, Culpo chatted with People.com about everything from the pageant to her favorite foods to her (not-so-secret) crush.

Here is some of what we've learned.

How she felt standing on stage Wednesday night: "I was exhausted!"

Her sugary weakness: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

And who is the single beauty queen crushing on these days? None other than "Rock of Ages" star Diego Boneta, who was also a judge for the Miss Universe Pageant (she tripped in front of him --- oops!)

How celebrities are spending the holidays

Posted by Kristi Palma December 21, 2012 08:20 AM

How do celebrities spend the holidays?

Eating and catching up on sleep, just like the rest of us. At least, that's what celebrities like LL Cool J and Selena Gomez told "Entertainment Tonight."

"I just want to eat a lot of stuff that I'm not supposed to eat," said LL Cool J.

"I want to go home and sleep and eat a lot of food with my grandparents," said Gomez.

"Eating, like everyone else. Eating a lot," said Kirsten Dunst to "ET."

And Kristen Stewart just wants some down time.

"I don't know, I mean I love Christmas," said Stewart. "I'm looking forward to having some time off. It's been a while." (Photo: AP Photo/Joel Ryan, file)

As for Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, the palace will break a holiday tradition by inviting Middleton's parents over. It will be the first time that non-royals will join in the family's annual Christmas gathering, reports "Entertainment Tonight."

'Boy Meets World' star Fishel graduates college at 31

Posted by Emily Wright December 20, 2012 10:19 AM

Danielle Fishel, who may be better known as Topanga from the hit '90s sitcom "Boy Meets World," announced that she finished college this week via her Tumblr page.

"I went back to school 4 years ago at 27 years old," Fishel wrote. "I had attempted to go a couple times before then, even going so far as to take my placement exams and sign up for classes, but I could never follow through and actually go. I was too afraid of being the old lady in class, of being whispered about, and especially of not remembering how to do simple math equations."

She later added that, she is "a very fortunate person," but "graduating from college is easily among my proudest achievements in life."

2012 turned out to be a year of announcements for the actress, who recently confirmed that she will be returning to the small screen to reprise her role as the quirky wife of Cory Matthews, played by Ben Savage, in "Girl Meets World." The upcoming reboot will chronicle the life of the couple's teenage daughter, Riley.

Plenty of celebrities vented their sadness and frustration this past weekend about the heartbreaking massacre that took place Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut by writing comments for fans to read.

But actor Morgan Freeman wasn't one of them.

Someone released a lengthy quote blaming the media for the shooting and attributed it to Freeman. Read the entire quote, courtesy of E! News.

However, Freeman's rep told this to E! News: "Morgan neither made statements or posted those statements. We are trying to find out who did, but they did not originate from him."

Who are the most fascinating people of 2012?

Barbara Walters announced her Top 10 list last night during her annual ABC special, highlighting the most fascinating people of the year.

Boston's Academy-Award winning actor/director/writer Ben Affleck made the list. This was a big year for Affleck, who directed, produced, and starred in "Argo," which was also nominated for a Golden Globe this morning. Others included pint-sized reality TV star Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, Olympian Gabby Douglas, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James, British boy band One Direction, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, actor Seth MacFarlane, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Wondering who's the most fascinating of all?

Do you agree that Petraeus is the most fascinating person of the year?

Anne Hathaway talks wardrobe malfunction, 'Les Misérables' premiere

Photographers got more than they were bargaining for Monday night as Anne Hathaway exited the car at the premiere of her latest film, "Les Misérables." The actress had no underwear on and photographers captured the moment when she mistakenly bared it all.

Hathaway sat down with "Today" show host Matt Lauer this morning and answered questions about the unfortunate incident.

"It kind of made me sad on two accounts," Hathaway said during the interview. "One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it, and do the decent thing, sells it."

Of course, Hathaway isn't the first star to be exposed as she exited the car. Other celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and even the Duchess of Cambridge have been the victims of wrong place/wrong time wardrobe malfunction scenarios.

Hathaway continued, "And I’m sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to 'Les Mis,' that's what my character is, she is someone who is forced to sell sex to benefit her child because she has nothing and there's no social safety net."

Hathaway plays Fantine in the movie alongside co-stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfreid, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Helena Bonham Carter. The film opens on Christmas Day.

On a lighter note, Hathaway stopped by "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to sing Mad Libs Christmas carols on Tuesday night's show.

Do you think Hathaway handled the questions from Lauer well? What do you think of the photographers who sold the photos? Let us know in the comments.

Charlie Sheen says Lindsay Lohan never thanked him for money he gave her

Posted by Kristi Palma December 11, 2012 07:34 AM

Charlie Sheen is telling "Entertainment Tonight" that he gave Lindsay Lohan money and never received a thank you.

The two worked together on "Scary Movie 5," scheduled for release in April, 2013. Sheen did not specify the amount he gave Lohan, but an ABC report says the amount could be as high as $100,000.

"She got shorted and I found out so I said, 'Here,'" said Sheen. "I'm still waiting for a text to say thank you, anything."

TMZ and the New York Daily News reported that Lohan's bank accounts were recently seized by the IRS because she owes taxes. The report also says Lohan used Sheen's money to help pay for those taxes.

A few weeks ago Lohan was charged with assault and lying to the cops and assault.

Sheen, who is also notorious for making headlines for reasons other than his acting, told ET he had the following advice for the troubled starlet: "To lead with humor."

Do you think Lohan will thank Sheen for the money?

Prince William talks about his wife's pregnancy sickness

The royal couple posed for engagement photos in 2010.

Dad-to-be Prince William made his first public appearance since his wife Kate Middleton was released from the hospital after a four-day stay because of hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe morning sickness. And he's talking about how his wife's sickness is not limited to the morning.

He attended the Winter Whites Gala in London on Saturday. It was there that he told Michael O'Higgins, former chairman of homeless charity Centrepoint (which the gala benefited), "They shouldn't call it morning sickness, as it's a day and all-night sickness, reports People.com.

Middleton was feeling so sick yesterday that Prince William canceled his appearance at the British Military Tournament to be by her side, reports E! News.

But don't expect regular updates from the palace about her condition. That's because a spokesperson for the royal couple issued this statement to People.com: "It is well known that hyperemesis gravidarum often recurs and, until further notice, to allow the Duchess a degree of privacy during her pregnancy, we do not intend to offer regular condition checks or advise of routine developments associated with it."

Report: Lohan arrives in Boston with The Wanted

Posted by Emily Wright December 7, 2012 01:01 PM

Lindsay Lohan's recent run-in with the law and reported tax evasion issues haven't kept her from getting out and about.

The 26-year-old actress was spotted in Boston at the Kiss 108 Jingle Ball concert last night. The "Liz & Dick" star doesn't frequent the Hub, so why did she pick the TD Garden for a Thursday night outing? According to NECN, LiLo arrived in Boston aboard The Wanted's tour bus, which she reportedly boarded after leaving the Philadelphia Jingle Ball.

This news comes hours after Kiss 108 morning show host Matt Siegel interviewed The Wanted member, Max George. Siegel chatted the pop star up about the group's show on Wednesday night in Philly where Lohan was spotted, and then asked George if there was anything going on between the two young celebs.

"What the hell is going on with you and Lindsay Lohan," Seigel asked during the interview.
