Rumors swirl about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West's baby name

Posted by Emily Wright June 18, 2013 02:46 PM

Kai? Kaidence? Something with a K?

We still can't figure out what the baby girl's name is -- maybe because parents Kim and Kanye haven't named her yet. Sources say that the couple is close to coming up with something suitable for the newest addition to the family, and that it could, perhaps, start with a K (Kanye's name falls right in line).

Kardashian gave birth to her daughter, the first child for her and boyfriend West, on Saturday.

Splash News is reporting that the five-weeks-early baby could have the middle name "Georgia," which could be linked to Kardashian's late father, George.

No one seems to know what the real story is yet, but we're having fun guessing and making up our own names for now. Watch the video above and then tell us what you think the baby's name should be by adding to the comments.

And for those of you who are worried that you won't be able to keep up with your Kardashians any more, have no fear: Khloe said that the family's reality show is currently filming its next season and will wrap in September.

Nigella Lawson's husband admits to assault

Posted by Rachel Raczka June 18, 2013 09:55 AM

Celeb chef Nigella Lawson's husband, art collector Charles Saatchi, voluntarily accepted an assault caution from British authorities after The Mirror leaked questionable photos of the couple Sunday. The Brit paper's Sunday People edition released images of Saatchi with his hands clasped around his 53-year-old wife's neck while dining at a London restaurant on June 9.

A detailed account of the alleged interaction between the 70-year-old and Lawson was also reported in the publication, stating:

Saatchi launched a tirade of angry words. Four times he grasped her around the neck with Nigella, 53, looking powerless and petrified. At first he used only his left hand, then both. At one stage he tweaked her nose then pushed both hands in her face. Twice Nigella jerked her head backwards as if in fear.

According to E! News, the advertising mogul "voluntarily attended a central London police station and accepted a caution for assault," after an investigation regarding the photos was carried out by the Community Safety Unity at Westminster.

While Saatchi originally dismissed the photos as a "playful tiff," he willingly accepted the charges after public outrage escalated Monday.

The caution isn't the same as an official charge, but according to Reuters:

Under English law, a caution can be given to an adult who admits a minor offence and this is not a criminal conviction but can be used as evidence of bad character in court for another crime. The suspect can be arrested or charged if they do not agree to be cautioned.

Lawson's rep has yet to release a statement but the chef was spotted leaving their shared home since the incident.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, seen here at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala benefit in New York on May 6, have reportedly had a newborn girl.

What will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West name their newborn daughter?

That's the big question now, after the super couple reportedly welcomed a baby girl today at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, according to multiple sources. The baby was due July 11, but Kardashian "felt sick" last night and went into labor and West left a record-listening party to be by her side. TMZ reports that it was a natural childbirth. The pair revealed the gender of the baby on a recent episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." This is the first child for Kardashian and West.

What do you think the baby will be named? Give us your best guess in the comments.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux wedding on hold?

Posted by Kristi Palma June 14, 2013 08:49 AM

What's holding up the wedding between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux?

Apparently they've got a few house projects to complete. And when your house is a $21 million estate in L.A.'s Bel Air neighborhood, the projects aren't small.

After the couple got engaged 10 months ago, wedding plans were soon in full swing. Wedding bands were being designed, Aniston was deciding on a dress, and she even had her eye on a date this spring, according to this report by People.com. Now construction delays on the mansion and new acting projects have jammed up their schedules to the point that "wedding talk has stopped" a source tells People.com.

Do you think the couple will ever say "I do"?

Will Smith snags kiss on the lips from son Jaden

Posted by Rachel Raczka June 13, 2013 09:40 AM

Talk about fatherly love.

Will Smith and his 14-year-old son Jaden were guests on Thailand's "The Woody Show" when host Woody Milintachinda asked whether there was a distance in affection between the pair at home.

"No, we're very affectionate," said Will before snagging an open mouth kiss on the lips from his son.

That's right: On. The. Lips.

"This is ridiculous!" exclaimed an embarrassed Jaden while his 44-year-old dad laughed in the background.

The Smith guys were promoting their new M. Night Shyamalan film "After Earth," in which they portray a father and son in a post apocalyptic world.

Joan Rivers upset she can't bash Angelina Jolie anymore

Posted by Rachel Raczka June 11, 2013 09:49 AM

"E! Fashion Police" host Joan Rivers is celebrating her 80th birthday Saturday, kicking off a "takeover" of episodes on the celeb cable network, but did she get everything she wanted this year?

Apparently not. The snarky fashion critic told E! she was pretty bummed out that Angelina Jolie is now off limits from her wrath due to her recent preventive double mastectomy.

"It affected me so much I took three jokes out about her in my act. Do you understand how upsetting that is?" she said before taking two extra expletive stabs at the actress.

However, the crass Brooklyn-born comedian was sure to also commend the Oscar-winner for her actions, adding, "I think what she did is absolutely, incredibly brave and wonderful for women and women's self-image ... She is someone every woman can look up to, saying, 'If she can do it, I can do it.'"

What do you think of Joan's comments? Do you think they were all in good fun? Too soon? Comment here.

Simon Cowell gets egged

Posted by Kristi Palma June 10, 2013 08:16 AM

Simon Cowell, the reality TV judge known for his harsh honesty, was egged during the finale of his show, "Britain's Got Talent."

A woman rushed forward and started chucking eggs at the judges in the middle of a song performed by contestants Richard and Adam Johnson. Cowell then took off his jacket.

Who was the woman? She is 30-year-old Natalie Holt, either an instrumentalist in the orchestra, according to the E! News video report above, or a backup singer, according to this other E! News report. (We'll keep you posted if we find out more on that.)

Whatever her role in the show, she's now serving up an apology for her actions. Holt has released this statement: "I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I've never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realized it was a silly thing to do."

Cowell took to Twitter after the attack, writing:

Is Justin Bieber going into space?

Posted by Rachel Raczka June 6, 2013 09:48 AM

bieb-590.jpg

Justin Bieber has taken home a few moonman statues in the past, but is he about to become one himself?

Virgin Group founder/resident billionaire Richard Branson says Biebs and his manager Scooter Braun have signed up for an upcoming suborbital spaceflight on the Virgin Galactic.

The 19-year-old pop star has yet to reply or issue a public statement but E! News reports Braun tweeted, "I'm going to space momma!" before deleting the comment.

A ticket for a Virgin Galactic flight to outerspace rings in at a cool $250,000 per seat, according to E!, who also reported Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, and Steven Hawking as Biebs' potential travel companions. It might seem like a pretty penny to most of us, but it sounds like chump change for the Canadian pop star who clocked in at number three on Forbes Celebrity 100, earning $55 million as of May 2012.

What do you think of Bieber's potential flight to outerspace? Do you think Branson should have let the singer break his own news? Comment here.

Paris Jackson, 15, rushed to hospital

Posted by Emily Wright June 5, 2013 01:10 PM

Paris Jackson, the late Michael Jackson's 15-year-old daughter, was taken to the hospital early Wednesday morning, according to her grandmother's attorney, Perry Sanders, Jr. He added that she is "physically fine" in a statement to the Associated Press.

‘‘Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are," Sanders said. "It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.’’

There are no confirmed details right now as to why she was at the hospital, but BBC Breaking reported via Twitter that Paris tried to commit suicide.

Earlier today, Paris posted a pair of tweets that may have been a call for help, one questioning why tears are salty, and the second quoting the Beatles' classic, "Yesterday."

Paris tweeted a photo of herself last week with a short-cropped pixie cut (different from the long hair in the photo above), giving the peace sign with a Guns N' Roses lyric from "Paradise City."

We'll keep you updated with the Associated Press coverage as details emerge.

Joe Simpson speaks out on racy Nick Lachey claims

Posted by Rachel Raczka June 4, 2013 09:42 AM

Jessica Simpson's father, Joe, said he would "still have a beer" with his daughter's former husband, Nick Lachey, after the 98 Degrees front man trashed him on "Watch What Happens Live" last month. When host Andy Cohen had Lachey and his brother Drew on the Bravo talk show, he asked Nick, "What is the best thing about no longer having Joe Simpson as a father-in-law?"

Drew piped in first with a firm, "Everything!"

But Nick laughed it off, adding, "The best thing about not having Joe Simpson as a father-in-law is I don't have to play grab-ass under the table on Easter Sunday."

The elder Lachey also added that it had been about "six years" since he last spoke to his ex-wife. "It was like another lifetime ago," he said.

The "Newlyweds" stars married in 2002 and later divorced in 2006. Lachey then wed Vanessa Minnillo in 2011 and celebrated the birth of their first child in 2012. Meanwhile, Jessica is expecting her second child with fiance Eric Johnson.

However, Joe seems to be taking the remark with stride. When approached by a TMZ camera crew outside West Hollywood's Greystone Manor with a gaggle of ladies, he told the gossip network: "I love Nick and I think he was a good husband to my daughter." He added that he would still grab a beer with the singer today, even though the comment caught him off guard.

What do you think of Joe's response? Do you think Lachey was out of line? Sound off here.

Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcome first baby

Posted by Emily Wright June 3, 2013 09:55 AM

"White House Down" star Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum welcomed a baby girl child in London on Thursday, according to an Us Weekly exclusive.

Just last week Dewan-Tatum tweeted that she had tried acupuncture for the first time. Think the ancient treatment had anything to do with her going into labor?

Dewan's father talked to E! and told the network:

"Becoming a grandad and grandmom while speaking for Jenna's mom, is a wonderful life experience. Emotional, cant stop smiling. Anxious to meet our grandchild and hug Jenna and Chan. They are an amazing couple and will be great parents. I'm very excited for everyone in each of our families."

The Tatums were married in July, 2009 after meeting on the set of 2006's "Step Up."

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West baby gender revealed

Posted by Rachel Raczka June 3, 2013 09:14 AM

Kim Kardashian was joined by sisters, Khloe and Kourtney, and mom, Kris, when her baby gender was revealed during the season premiere of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Sunday night. The 32-year-old reality star, who is expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West, laid back for an ultrasound as her visit to Dr. Paul Crane unveiled a "99-plus" percent chance that she is having a baby girl.

"Who doesn't want a girl? Like, they are the best," said Kim. "And I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted."

West was not in attendance for the baby gender reveal, but Khloe told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM Friday morning that the father's absence was due to scheduling constraints.

"The baby was always in a position where you couldn’t tell the sex, and this time that you’re going to see on the show, [Kanye] was in London or Paris. He had a concert."

The 35-year-old first time father-to-be did make it to the family's lavish baby shower Sunday where the couple was very affectionate while noshing on brunch, according to People Magazine.

However, Kris's husband and "Keeping Up" regular Bruce Jenner sang a different tune during a May 31 Extra appearance when he told Maria Menounos that the rapper/baby daddy is rarely around.

"Actually, I have only met him once. He's never ... he's not around... He was in Paris the whole time writing, and he just hasn't been around," Jenner revealed while discussing the upcoming season of the E! reality show.

Are you excited for the birth of Kimye's baby girl?

Adam Levine responds to criticism of his 'I hate this country' remark

Posted by Kristi Palma May 30, 2013 09:43 AM

Adam Levine is feeling the heat from a comment he made after two of his singers were eliminated from "The Voice" this week.

The Maroon 5 singer, 34, was overheard saying "I hate this country" after two of his contestants, Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, received the least amount of votes from America and were eliminated from the singing competition.

A firestorm erupted on social media over the words.

Levine's response?

In a statement released to NBC, he said, "I obviously love my country very much and my comments last night were made purely out of frustration. Being a part of The Voice, I am passionately invested in my team and want to see my artists succeed. Last night’s elimination of Judith and Sarah was confusing and downright emotional for me and my comments were made based on my personal dissatisfaction with the results. I am very connected to my artists and know they have long careers ahead, regardless of their outcome on the show."

And on his own Twitter account, he responded simply by posting definitions to words such as "misunderstand" and "joke."

Do you think he should apologize for the comment?

Justin Bieber faces second alleged paternity claim

Posted by Rachel Raczka May 30, 2013 09:10 AM

bieber-DUBAI.jpg

Ruh-oh.

A second woman has allegedly stepped forward claiming that Justin Bieber is the father of her child, according to Star Magazine. The tabloid cites a "European woman" (which really narrows it down) who claimed the swaggy star slept with her during an excursion in Miami Beach in 2010, resulting in a baby girl born in October of that year. Oh, and the kicker? Biebs would have been the wee age of 15 at the time.

According to a source cited in the story, said "Euorpean woman" has yet to inform Bieber of the results of their so-called tryst. "She only recently began considering alerting Justin to the existence of her daughter."

So is this Mariah Yeater, part 2?

Not so fast. Star cites an unnamed source who says this unnamed "European woman" won't be claiming a cent from the "Boyfriend" singer:

She won’t be asking for a penny form him, and she has no desire to become part of the celebrity lifestyle. She’s going to leave it up to Justin to decide, at any point in the future that he chooses, if he ever wants to get involved with the child.

The tabloid also cites numerous text messages between 19-year-old star and his alleged lover, including gems like: "thanks 4 last night" and "Our little secret?"

A rep for Bieber slammed the rumor to Gossip Cop, calling the claims "completely untrue."

As for Bieber, he was spotted last night supporting bestie Jaden Smith at the premiere of his new flick "After Earth," before hitting the clubs in New York City, according to HollywoodLife.com.

What do you think of the allegations?

Without missing a beat, the 31-year-old diva lashed back: "I will have you escorted out right now, alright?"

Beyonce and husband, Jay-Z, have been in the news as of late, battling against rumors that the couple is pregnant with their second child, following the cancellation of dates of the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour due to health problems.
