britney.jpgThe pop princess has been rumored for weeks to be in negotiations for a judging spot on Simon Cowell's "The X Factor," and E! News has reported the deal is now official (though there is still no word directly from Spears or the show). Spears will join Cowell and fellow judge L.A. Reid on the panel. E! is reporting Spears will get $15 million for one season on the reality music competition show. Cast members from the first season -- judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones -- are being replaced, so we're still waiting for word on the new fourth judge (Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus's names have been floating around, but nothing's confirmed), along with a new host.

Are you excited to see Brit Brit back on TV? Will you watch "The X Factor" now that Spears is in the mix? Discuss in the comments, and take our survey below.
