"Twilight" lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted making a rare public display of affection at Cannes. Pictures of the couple, who are typically very private, show RPattz and KStew smooching at a bash during the French film festival.

In other Cannes news, Janet Jackson, Alec Baldwin, and Adrien Brody hit the red carpet at the amFar Cinema Against AIDS Gala on May 24. Jackson mentioned that the charity was close to her heart because she has lost friends to HIV/AIDS.

Prince William spoke to Katie Couric in a rare interview for ABC News about his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, who is celebrating 60 years on the throne this year. The royal recalled how he realized as a child that his grandmother was an international icon, and also mentioned how she helped William and his then fiancee, Catherine Middleton, when they were planning their wedding last year.

In "X Factor" news, Britney Spears made her debut as a judge, heading to auditions in Texas and turning heads in a snug, hot pink dress.
