In "American Idol" news, the singers weren't the only ones getting attention last night. Host Ryan Seacrest popped a little question to his girlfriend, former "Dancing With the stars" professional dancer turned singer-actress Julianne Hough. But what did the "Idol" and E! host ask? You'll have to watch for yourself in the video above, but let's just say it had a little something to do with ... Tom Cruise(?).

Meanwhile, new "America's Got Talent" judge Howard Stern embarrassed "Today" show host Matt Lauer during a segment of the NBC morning show, where Stern was discussing his upcoming role as a judge on the network's talent show, set to air Monday (May 14). What took place? Stern sat on Lauer's lap, with some talk of ... "Good Morning America." Watch the video.

In baby news ... "The Dictator" star Anna Faris is pregnant, expecting her first child with husband Chris Pratt.

Five-month-pregnant "Jersey Shore" star Snooki talked to E! News about her pregnancy and how she's feeling. Will the cameras capture the birth of her child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle? Snooki is "not sure yet," she told E!.

riley.jpgIn TV news ... "Glee" cast member Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes Jones on the show, just might be leaving the Fox show, tweeting:"That's a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday! I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL'S OUT Glee Kids! Let's play!"

And then another tweet: "Stay tuned to see what's next for Mercedes ;)"

So what's next Amber? Will you miss the actress on the show if she leaves?

Actress Amber Riley attended the premiere of "Struck By Lightning" during the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York City on April 21.
