Jack Osbourne has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
The 26-year-old former reality star learned the news just two weeks after welcoming his daughter into the world.
"I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, 'Why now?' " Osbourne, who is the son of Sharon and Ozzy, told People. "I've got a family and that's what's supposed to be the most important thing."
The Mayo Clinic website offers the following definition of MS, for which there is no cure:
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially debilitating disease in which your body's immune system eats away at the protective sheath that covers your nerves. This interferes with the communication between your brain and the rest of your body. Ultimately, this may result in deterioration of the nerves themselves, a process that's not reversible.
