"General Hospital" was the night's big winner at the 39th annual Daytime Emmy awards June 23 in Beverly Hills, Calif., winning five trophies, including best drama.

Regis Philbin, who wrapped up his longstanding run with the morning talk show "Live! With Regis and Kelly" (formerly "Live! With Regis and Kathy Lee") was bid farewell. View photos of the night, read more from the AP, and watch behind-the-scenes footage below.
