What do you think of Jimmy Fallon as host of the Academy Awards? While there's been no official announcement about who will be named host this year by the Motion Picture Academy, Jimmy Fallon is reportedly being considered for the role -- and one reason why he might not be: Jimmy Kimmel. The Oscars are broadcast on ABC, and Kimmel, a late-night talk show host on ABC, is in competition with Fallon, a late-night talk show host on NBC. While we don't know who will ultimately get the Oscar gig, this got us wondering about Fallon's ability to host. Would you like to see him take the spotlight on Hollywood's big night?
