Some Britney Spears fans on Twitter are outraged with the December cover of Lucky magazine featuring the pop singer and "X-Factor" judge, calling Lucky "lazy" and "unprofessional" for a photo that some think features Spears in an unnatural-looking wig with face-altering computer touch-ups.

While the magazine has not commented on whether it altered Spears via computer or used a wig in the shoot, it has tweeted an apology. There has been no response from the Spears camp.

Read some of the tweets sent to Lucky:

This is from @itsmealexandra:

Why on earth would you put that horrendous wig on @britneyspears? It's lazy & unprofessional. Why not use her natural hair?

And then there was this by @TheRealSkittLeZ:

That cover looks horrible. Did @britneyspears even show up for the photoshoot or did you just photoshop her face on a body

And this by @xproudofbritney:

The photoshoot is pretty awesome the problem is the photoshop used on Britney's face. It's terrible she has a natural beauty.

And also this by @_ShaunyBoy_:

they're bad because it's notthe real her! When you adjust someone's face so much it's out of order on them. Bad photoshop.

Lucky's response?

What do you think of the cover?

And check out Britney's polka dotted blouse. She isn't the only one rocking polka dots this year. Who could forget Taylor Swift's red polka-dotted bikini this past summer? Check out more polka-dotted celebs of today and yesteryear here.
