It seems Ms. Britney Spears just might have a new pad.

"The X-Factor" star reportedly bought a $8.5 million mansion in the Thousand Oaks neighborhood in Los Angeles, a source told People.com.

The 8,456 sq. ft. pad, listed at $8.5 million, has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and an infinity pool.

Maybe decorating her new digs with fiancee Jason Trawick will help keep her mind off the libel trial that her family faces.

Spears's former manager, Sam Lutfi, says he was unfairly blamed for the singer's public unraveling more than four years ago. Spears is unlikely to testify, according to The Associated Press. However, her divorced parents -- father Jamie Spears and mother Lynne Spears -- may have to.
