Barbara Walters and Lindsay Lohan aren't exactly exchanging pleasantries this week.
After Lohan canceled a 20/20 interview with Walters, Walters didn't contain her feelings about it on The View Monday, telling viewers she was "disappointed."
Now Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan is speaking out about why her daughter dissed Walters.
Dina Lohan told "Entertainment Tonight," in the above video, that her daughter's new PR team is to blame for giving the interview the ax.
"It was just a decision that the higher-ups made," Dina told ET.
She said her daughter really wants to focus on her professional rather than her personal life. Lindsay is starring as Elizabeth Taylor in a new Lifetime movie, "Liz & Dick", airing November 25.
Yet it's been an autumn full of controversies for the Lohan family.
In September, Lindsay was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a NYC accident in September.
Also in September, Dina Lohan seemed to come unraveled, slurring her speech and appearing disoriented during a much-publicized interview with Dr. Phil.
In October, there was a public fight between Lindsay and her mother. Lindsay reportedly called her dad Michael Lohan, screaming and crying and said, "Daddy, they won't let me out of the car" about her mother and the limo driver.
