Evan Rachel Wood, 25, and Jamie Bell, 26, were married this week, a rep for Wood told US Weekly. Wood wore a one-of-a-kind Chantilly lace Carolina Herrera gown in the Oct. 30 ceremony. Bell, who most notably starred as the namesake character in "Billy Elliot," proposed to the "True Blood" actress in early 2012.
Wood Tweeted the next day about her happy state and retweeted friend Max Minghella's message regarding the wedding.
Words cannot describe the happiness i am feeling. Overwhelming.— Evan Rachel Wood (@evanrachelwood) October 31, 2012
Yesterday I got to see my best friend exchange vows with the love of his life. Still coming down from high… #TrueRomance— Max Minghella (@max_minghella) November 1, 2012
Wood and Bell met on the set of Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends" video in 2005 and dated for a year before splitting in 2006. They reconnected in 2011 after Wood called off her first engagement to twice-her-age rocker Marilyn Manson after a four-year courtship.
Wood and Bell got tattoos of each other's first initial to prove their love in 2006. Wood refrained from covering up the "J" on her left ankle after the initial break-up and during her relationship with Manson because it "reminded [her] of a great period" in her life.
