Kelly Clarkson is engaged.

The Grammy winner and first-ever "American Idol" winner has dated her fiance Brandon Blackstock for about a year. He designed her yellow canary diamond engagement ring himself, reports E! News.

Blackstock is the stepson of Clarkson's pal Reba McEntire. So now the pals will become family. And Clarkson will also be a stepmother since Blackstock has two children from a previous relationship.
