Brooke Burke-Charvet reveals thyroid cancer surgery scar

Brooke Burke-Charvet, 41, revealed her thyroid cancer surgery scar with the world yesterday on "Good Morning America."

The "Dancing with the Stars" co-host said she did not put make-up on her neck.

"It's fresh, it's a month old and I think scars tell a story," she said. "And I think I'm so fortunate."

Burke-Charvet underwent a thyroidectomy a month ago. Before that, she made the following candid video for her fans to discuss her diagnosis of thyroid cancer, and how she felt about it.
