They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but apparently too much fruit in your diet may land you in the hospital. At least, that's what happened to actor Ashton Kutcher.
Kutcher was eating a fruit-only diet to prepare for the role of Steve Jobs in the biopic "Jobs," when he was rushed to the hospital with pancreas problems, reports usatoday.com.
"I was like doubled over in pain," Kutcher said.
The film claims that Jobs followed a fruit-only diet. The Apple co-founder died of pancreatic cancer in 2011.
"I admire the guy so much," said Kutcher about Jobs in the interview above with E! News at the Sundance Film Festival. "And I wanted to give my best effort to portray him in the most authentic way that I could."
The movie will be in theaters nationwide in April.
