"Argo" director Ben Affleck accepts the Oscar for Best Movie onstage at the 85th Annual Academy Awards.

Boston native Ben Affleck may be the talk of the town this morning for his best picture win for "Argo," but it's his beard that won't stop talking.

That's because Ben Affleck's beard has a Twitter account. Yes, that's what we said -- his beard is tweeting. And the E! News folks couldn't resist gossiping about it on the Red Carpet last night.

Today, as Affleck basks in his glorious win, his beard is feeling nostalgic too. Check out some of its tweets:

Notice the timestamp? We're not sure where the creator @Afflecks_beard is tweeting from, but we assume it's somewhere across the pond.

In other Academy Award hair news...comedian Sarah Silverman couldn't resist taking a jab at Kristen Stewart's mane via Twitter:

Stewart arrived on the Red Carpet with her long brown hair falling loosely around her bare shoulders.

Silverman's tweet:

While we're talking hair, is actress Helena Bonham Carter against brushes too?

Carter opted for a less than sleek updo with pieces of hair hanging down in her face.

What do you think of all this hair talk at the Oscars?
