Kim Kardashian names baby North West, Twitter erupts

We thought for sure it would be Karrie or Kimberly (right?).

But Kim Kardashian and Kanye West named their baby girl, born June 15, North West. TMZ first reported it Thursday night, citing the birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai hospital. Find out why Kardashian is still in the hospital, courtesy of People.com.

The couple will call the baby "Nori" for short, reports Us Weekly. The world is talking about the unique name choice and Twitter is ablaze with comments.

Do you think this will be mentioned on the late night talk shows tonight? The joke writers can perhaps take some inspiration from the many jokes flooding Twitter under the hashtag #NorthWest today (which is trending, of course). Some tweeps are even posting photos of a compass, and joking that it's the baby's first pic.
