Oprah Winfrey reportedly took home $77 million between June 2012 and June 2013, so we can see why the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) maven is back on top of the annual Forbes Celebrity 100 most powerful list.

Winfrey wasn't the top earner on the celebrity list, though. Unlike some of the other Forbes lineups, this one measures a star's fame as well as wealth. Winfrey's impact on society, presence in social media, as well as several other factors were considered in the decision, according to the magazine's website.

Lady Gaga came in second, Steven Spielberg landed third, Beyonce in fourth, and Madonna in fifth.

Who didn't make the list? Brad Pitt, Britney Spears, and Johnny Depp. Are you surprised? Let us know in the comments.
