Note: Jay-Z is still tweeting. It is now 2:12 p.m. and he's up to 84 posts.

Jay-Z doesn't tweet often, but today is apparently an exception to the rule.

The rap mogul, who recently released "Magna Carta Holy Grail" to Samsung users worldwide, started answering fan questions and responding to album critiques over Twitter today.

In 50 minutes Hov posted 16 tweets, bringing his total to 62 posts ever. This makes us wonder: is it really Jay posting these tweets?

It all started when Mr. Carter responded to a fan who asked if he should rap about his Hanes t-shirts, in response to Jay spitting about Tom Ford on the new album, which will be available for purchase to all tomorrow. And then it just kept going and going.

Here are the some more of the Twitter posts:

Is Jay shamelessly promoting or has he been hacked? Whatever the case, looks like his fans are responding well to the break from the norm.

Have something to ask Jay-Z? Think it's really him? Sound off in the comments with your thoughts.
