"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara sat down with Harper's Bazaar Executive Editor Laura Brown at Serendipity 3 in New York City where she dished on what it's like to meet fans.
"Sometimes I see a little bit of disappointment because sometimes they see me and they're like 'you're a little skinnier than you are on TV'," the three-time Emmy nominee admitted.
"Do you stick your butt out then?" asked Brown.
"I try and make my accent like thicker but I still see the disappointment," laughed Vergara.
The interview was part of the pub's "The Look" video interview series, which has previously included the likes of Christina Hendricks and Kim Kardashian. Vergara will grace the cover of the August issue.
The 41-year-old Colombian actress also told the fashion editor she opts for Dolce & Gabbana because she usually doesn't have to stop to alternations since their clothes are "made for shapely women." And showed off COVERGIRL lipstick from inside her new handbag from Tokyo. Vergara is a spokesperson for the brand.
Among her fave style icons Vegara listed Sofia Loren for her consistent makeup and because she always "dressed for her type of body," as well as Blake Lively because she looks "amazing" in pictures.
The duo noshed on the (ridiculous) $1,000 Golden Opulence Sundae, topped with edible gold leaf, which Vergara pulled away from the editor joking, "This has a lot of calories. I'm doing you a favor."
