Who will be Prince George's godparents? Will it be Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton? People magazine is speculating while preparations are underway for the potential future king's christening in the fall.

If the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do choose their siblings for the roles, they will still have to figure out four more people who fit the bill. That's because the royal family traditionally chooses three men and three women as godparents instead of just two godparents. And guess whose name is being thrown around (by the British betting firm Ladbrokes)? David Beckham, reports People.com. (Photo: AP Photo/Wong Maye-E)

But Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, told People.com that it's not likely Beckham will be chosen. She then shared her top picks, which include Sophie Wessex, who's married to William's uncle, Prince Edward, and Zara Tindall, William's cousin.

Prince William's godparents include the late author Sir Laurens van der Post, Lady Susan Hussey (the Queen's lady-in-waiting), and the former king of Greece, Constantine.

And, finally, check out this video below of Prince Harry talking about his new nephew and the type of uncle he hopes to be.

Do you think Prince Harry and Pippa will be the baby's godparents? If your children have godparents, how did you go about choosing them?
