In case you forgot: Amanda Bynes has been kind of a hot mess.

Following a series of outrageous events, the 27-year-old actress checked into the psychiatric wing of the Reagan UCLA Medical Center in late July, but just recently she relocated a California rehabilitation center, according to a statement released by her parents' lawyer,Tamar Arminak.
TMZ reported the actress moved into the Canyon rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., but Rick and Lynn Bynes have not released the exact new location of their troubled daughter and have only confirmed that Amanda is "receiving specialized treatment in a private facility outside of Los Angeles."

According to E! News, the family thanks "all of Amanda's supporters and well-wishers for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time." Arminak's statement also claims that Bynes is making "great strides towards recovery" and "is getting specialized psych care, one on one treatment, not drug rehab."

The "Easy A" actress was court ordered to seek mental health treatment following an incident involving a small fire in the driveway of a private residence near her childhood home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. in late July. In addition to professional treatment, "Bynes is now under the conservatorship of her mother after a mental health court proceeding earlier this month," according to the LA Times.

Troubles for Bynes do not stop here. The LA Times also reports that the actress is under assessment at Los Angeles Country Superior Court where "Judge Edward Moreton referred a driving under the influence charge for Bynes to the mental health division, where a judge will decide if she is fit for trial," regarding a 2012 incident. Bynes is due in court this coming January for that incident and also stands to face charges in New York for alleged marijuana possession last May.
