Food Network darling Rachael Ray was a guest on Bravo's " Watch What Happens Live" this week where she spoke out on her disgraced and dismissed costar, Paula Deen.

When "WWHL" host Andy Cohen asked a viewer question about Ray's opinion of the controversy, the 45-year-old cooking personality said she thought the network was put in a difficult situation. Deen admitted to using racial slurs during a lawsuit earlier this summer, resulting in several severings of ties, including her Food Network contract. But, Ray told host Andy Cohen:

Food Network loves Paula Deen and I think that they were really caught between a hot pan and a hard place there. I think that the Food Network loves the fact that Paula’s been a part of their family forever and that her family continues to cook on, and I believe that one day the family will make up as all good families do. That's what I believe.

Deen recently made her way back to TV screens in her own episode of "E! True Hollywood Story," that aired earlier this week, but no official statement from Food Network and its relationship to the celeb chef has been released.
