Zac Efron, 26, slipped on a puddle of water outside his home and broke his jaw, according to an E! News exclusive report.

Efron's jaw is wired shut and he suffered a gash that required stitches.

Needless to say, plans to promote his new comedy "That Awkward Moment" have been put on hold for now.

It's been a difficult year for the actor, it seems. The fall and press delay follow a stint in rehab earlier this year, reported E! News.

But it hasn't been all bad: here is a photo the actor posted on WhoSay from "an incredible" trip to Peru with his dad.
