Apparently Donnie Wahlberg was having a case of the Mondays, so much so that he got into a fight with himself on Twitter.

The two sides kept us entertained until they decided to "twug" it out. Aw, a happy ending.

Note: Donnie didn't use the cleanest language in his tweets. Reader beware.

It all started around 2 p.m. when the "Blue Bloods" actor acknowledged an earlier typo.

Then he apologized to himself -- but it wasn't over. Donnie No. 2 fired back with a "Rise&Grind" reference to Donnie No. 1's popular morning motivational tweets.

After that quip, Donnie No. 1 decided: no more Mr. Nice Guy.

We started wondering if this was a left versus right brain debate right about here:

Donnie No. 1 continued to keep it PG.

But after a simple exclamation point from Donnie No. 2, the timid No. 1 fought back. The other side chimed in moments later.

Things started to get emotional at 2:13 p.m.

Donnie No. 1 tried to calm the storm.

And finally, at 2:14, an apology was issued from Donnie No. 2.

Donnie No. 1 joined in on the apology party.

And with a twug, problems were solved.

Except, apparently, Donnie No. 1 favors a different New Kid on the Block.

Once everything was put back together, Donnie retweeted a couple of fans who showed their praise for the Dorchester native.

With that, everything in the Wahlberg world is right again.

Maybe this Donnie dance move will help you fight your case of the Mondays.
